First Bike Ride

I beat Theo up OLH, and we biked to the beach. I remember looking at the beautiful scenery and Theo on a bike and thinking to myself "Wow this is the moment I've been waiting for." And of course the kiss on the beach was absolutely perfect. 🌊💛

Second Bike Ride

Another amazing ride followed by dinner at Poke. We kept growing closer, and I realized that taking a day off to enjoy the outdoors with a great guy is truly one of the best ways to spend a day. 🚴‍♀️🍴 Also that poke dinner was reeaaallly good.

Independence Day 2024

A fun holiday together. Started with my 19-mile run and then a big BBQ at EVGR with lots of food, beer, and chatting. We then escaped the heat with Stanford fountain hopping. And since I love two workouts a day, we bike up Page Mill to watch the fireworks. Although the pitch-black descent was terrifying, my chocolate rice cakes and your strawberries made it worth it.🎆🚴‍♀️🍔🔥

Failed Santa Cruz Ride

We decide to bike in 100+ F degree weather. After making it up HW9, we were too dehydrated to continue. I get us water and carry 4 bottles of water for. We race down HW9 and then get great sandwiches.

Successful Santa Cruz

We made it to Santa Cruz! We got fried chicken sandwiches and they were ... reaallyyyy good. And this was Theo's second cycling century. Theo fueled with a jar of honey - definitely better CPD than gels.

Bike Accident :(

I fall off my bike while Theo is on the east coast. Cris saves me at the ER room and we bond. I wear Theo's clothes all week and he talks to me on the phone every day to keep my spirits high. And you bring me flowers immediately when you get back. Thank you ❤️

Moving out of EVGR

Theo helps move me out of EVGR. He spends the entire day helping me pack and running back and forth between my apt and his car. His car then breaks down and we problem solve together - meaning me pack my bike with all my stuff and walk over to Theo's apt.

The "I Love You" Drop

Another dinner date at Vino, followed by drinks at Zola. And then… the big “I love you” moment happened. It only took me 3 weeks and countless calls with my brother to finally say the words—but it was absolutely magical. 🥂❤️✨

Theo's Bikepacking Finale

I join Theo and Grant for their last day of bikepacking (I bike up to Santa Rosa the day before). Theo surprises me saying he has started learning Russian! Grant completes his first cycling century (while chugging a gallon of milk) and Theo completes his third. 🚴‍♂️🥛 🌉

We see the Clue musical at the San Jose theater (hilarious!) and then go to Pizzeria Delfina for a dinner date. Awesome day!

Rainy Bike Ride, Lunch, and Ikea

We bike up to Foothills Park and see a rainbow. It then starts raining as we climb alpine and we hide out together. We got yummy lunch at Rosotti's Alpine Inn (first time there together). We end the day with a trip to Ikea to buy a mattress and Sharky.

Theo's 26th Birthday

Starts with my turkey trot. Super thankful for the convo that we had the night before bc Theo calmed me down. Theo comes to my house around noon, and we go see a broadway show with my family. We then get drinks and dinner with Theo’s family (went great!). Then drinks with Ben. And finally sleepover at my house. Wow very busy and amazing day.

First Dinner at the Smolansky's

We have dinner at the Smolansky house. Mama makes french style duck. Theo bonds over intellectual things with my parents. All goes great! Mama gives Theo a giant bag of granola that Theo taps into when we get back to CA.

Playing House at Theo's

We make dinner and hang out for a week at Theo's apartment. Theo becomes a chef and makes us great dinner every night. It's awesome to hangout so much 😊 We also watch Die Hard during the week, and we all learn how scared I am of thriller movies.
